By now North Korea has become the problem child of the entire world. Previous administrations were willing to throw billions of dollars and food at them to keep them silent and hope they would back off for another 2 years. That’s basically extortion. But not the Trump administration.
President Trump has signaled that paying them and even talking to them doesn’t work. I’m not sure if we actually end up with a regional war. For the sake of humanity let’s hope not. But should North Korea be allowed to test nuclear weapons? And is a preemptive strike worth it?
We are going to have to wait to find out. This North Korea issue is getting more serious by the day.
The fact they claim they can make as many nuclear weapons as they want sounds scary. All we can do is hope that this isn’t true. If the latest test really is the most powerful nuclear weapon they have tested this is a problem.
If it wasn’t for the nuclear capability of the North Koreans I could not care less about the country. I’m sick of all the wars we are paying for and we literally get nothing in return but a failed nation. And north Korea would be the same as Iraq and Afghanistan.
The only reason why I am against North Korea is because of their nuclear capability. The fact that they allegedly have a successful ICBM scares me almost just as much as the nuclear weapon itself. It’s just a matter of time until they can reach everywhere in mainland America.
It must scare the Japanese even more. Not sure what game Kim Jong-Un is playing. He might just attempt to extort more money from the world like he did many times before. But I do think he is playing with fire this time. It all depends how serious Donald Trump is about his threats.
