It’s time for republicans to grow a pair and really fight back against the loud democrats who don’t have real power and lost all arms of government last November.
It’s not the time to be the nice guy. There is an old saying that applies here: nice guys finish last. And that’s exactly the case here. If we are not willing to fight for our conservative principles and interests, just like the democrats always do. If they don’t, Donald Trump and the GOP will fail. Keep in mind, the democrats never hesitated to use the nuclear option and push through their backward progressive agenda, even now using the courts. And we must become exactly like that if we want to change the country and culture back to a more conservative America. Donald Trump won the presidency and the GOP won all branches of government. It’s time for the GOP to stand up and push through Neil Gorsuch. Just ignore Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and the celebrities. Not only that, it would really serve Mitch McConnell (R -KY) well to use the nuclear option. Because Mitch McConnell is not the most popular republican in Washington. He is viewed by the Trump base as an establishment hack, actively working against Donald Trump. If McConnell uses the nuclear option, people will know he is fighter for the GOP and conservatism. But it might not come to that. Because McConnell is very confident the senate will confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch. Because the senate majority leader said on Fox News Sunday: “Judge Gorsuch deserves to be confirmed. Unanimously well-qualified by the American Bar Association, my counterpart, Sen. Schumer, once called that the gold standard.”
He continued, “I think it is noteworthy that no Supreme Court justice has ever, in the history of our country, been stopped by a partisan filibuster — ever.”
He added, “We’re going to confirm Judge Gorsuch this week.”
